Hello and welcome to this week's episode. Where do I begin? First off this weeks subject matter might tick off a few folks but hopefully those who are annoyed are in the minority and not the majority. OK ready lets begin. In recent weeks, or at least since all the change of the year holidays the news has been loaded with "Baby controversies". The big ones being that the first "New Years" baby born in the Washington DC area was born to Lesbian mothers, the "Donor" father was a good friend of the quote "Family" unquote. Friend of The Family? Could you please define the word "Family"? Reguardless of whether the baby was a boy or girl (I think it was a girl) the kid should have a father or at least a father figure to look up to, in my opinion. How is a kid of Lesbian mothers supposed to...well supposed to learn anything with a lopsided family? Don't orphans who are lucky enough to grow up wish that they had had the chance to have grown up with a loving nurturing family with both a mother and father? Haven't there been studies after studies that show that children who are raised without a father in their life usually end up as juvenile delinquents? And those are the lucky ones. Then there are children who grow up with two fathers. Homosexual men may give into their feminine side more often than hetersexuals but I believe their children should grow up with a mother's TLC. Supposed sociologists claim that having same sex parents doesn't harm or confuse children. OH Yea? Right! Tell me that one a couple of hundred years from now. The next controversy and an even bigger one than confused kids of same sexed parents, is the Clonaid [Clonaid.com] Realien[rael.org] Baby Clone. Back twenty or more years ago the idea of cloning was only a science fiction story device, and something that was hundreds of years in the future if at all. The biotechnology that makes cloning possible (supposedly) includes the biotechnology of in vitro "in glass" fertilization which is the biotechnology that made the First "Test tube" baby birth possible. For the sake of history Louise Joy Brown born on July 25, 1978 in England (She turns 25 this year) was the worlds first "Test Tube" baby. Now those Wacky Realien's claim that the first "Cloned" baby was born? December 26, 2002 named "Eve", but have failed to produce any supporting evidence to the fact and have not allowed anyone to know the whereabouts of the baby or mother to validate any claims or to release any DNA testing. They like many other people believe that the science of cloning will make them immortal. As a Christian I believe the path to immortality is trust and faith in Jesus Christ not DNA from the bottom of a test tube. Nuff Said.
