Welcome to another Yadda Yadda Episode of Kirk's Knook. This week I was going to call this episode The Dirty Dozen and add 12 pinup posters but that would have made today's DIN too big to load on most email systems and everybody would be annoyed at me for crashing their systems, unless I included both male and female pinups and that would have been too much work so... This week I will talk about absolutely nothing just like a typical Yadda Yadda Yadda Episode (Check out the "Wheres Jerry" PEZ Dispenser! and the other animated contents pics.) So Let's Yadda Yadda Yadda.

Umm, OK so it's like this..ah. Ding Dang I can't think of anything. As Billy Preston used to sing "Nothing From Nothing leaves Nothing." OH I know, you can read these highlights from a bit I wrote in 2001 when I had nothing (pardon the intentional pun) to do but contemplate my naval. The full rambling babbling version of "TwoBeTwo" can be found at my website Nesredna's Knook.

"To be or not to be that is the question."
Was Shakespeare the first to actually write those words?
What does To Be or Not To Be really mean? Hmmm?

To Be meaning to Exist, Or Not To Be Meaning Not to Exist. The most frightening thing, about that concept is the actual state of NOT EXISTING! Being an entity that is used to EXISTING it is very difficult to grasp the concept of NOT EXISTING! Some would equate this to being scared of Death, but the two ideas don't necessarily come to pass.

To Be is to exist. Existence we equate with Life and therefore death. Existence doesn't necessarily mean Life, It's a state of being not an activity status or level of awareness. Many of Earth's animals are in a state of existence but are no more aware than the microchips that make up this computer. Many animals, just function, they use what little brains they have to gather/hunt/procreate etc. They do exist when they are alive and even still exist when they are dead, so therefore Existence doesn't equal "Life". Perhaps existence equals physical presence? So I guess that means it IS a state of BEING. So we have come full circle sort of. To Be is to Exist, thus to exist is To BE!

On the other hand, Not To Be would mean being in a state of non-existence. That is a really bizarre concept. It's just too mind boggling to conceive of... Who knows the answer to that question and many others?

As I said earlier existence DOES NOT equal Life, so Not To Be DOES NOT mean being Dead. It would have to mean not being physical, and yet spirits exist and are not physical. Argh! There goes that argument out the window. I guess I'm back to square one.

Thank You and See Ya! Next Week,

Kirk
